Floor-standing toilets are installed on the floor. This has the advantage that the connection can be easily laid and replacement is straightforward. A common floor-standing toilet variant is the so-called two-piece toilet with a cistern mounted directly on top. Visually, it is a real eye-catcher, as it appears to be cast in a single piece. As a rule, floor-standing toilets have a horizontal outlet, i.e. the pipe runs into the wall. However, they can also be converted to a vertical outlet using connection bends, so that the drain disappears vertically into the floor. This allows the installation to be flexibly adapted to the structural conditions.
